Welcome

Welcome to our old farmhouse. Over the past year I have learned so much history of this house and the people who lived here. Ninety six years of love, loss, hopes and dreams. Preservation continues and there is always a repair to be done. We are trying to be purest in our preservation as much as we possibly can. I hope you follow along and each week I will try to give you a little history of the house as well as the first owners of the house. I've been lucky enough to find a journal from a Granddaughter who talks about the house as well as her Grandparents. So come follow along and learn about this old house as well as the occupants, old and new.

Herbs and Things

It's Friday and time for everyone to show
their blooms, so lets all head over to
and see all the wonderful things happening there. We had frost and freeze warnings again
Monday and Tuesday, but I was lucky and
didn't loose any plants. I hope all that bad
stuff is over for a while. So lets just take a
look at some random plants in my garden.
I have a few herbs up that are doing well.
Clive's
Have you ever saw mint not do well? Oregano
My miniature red rose getting ready to bloom.
My pink rhododendron, I saw a bloom on my
white one today, I will show that next week.
I hope you enjoyed your visit, come back
anytime.
Bye For Now,

Hi Sandy, Your herb garden is just beautiful. I love the vibrant greens...I planted a small pot of herbs for cooking this year but next year they'll go in the ground.

It's tough at this time of the year weatherwise. We had 90 degrees a few weekends ago and frost warnings most of this week. Crazy! Your herbs look like they made out just fine.
