so I hope I'm doing this right!!!
Thanks Tootsie for hosting this event.
Now everyone be sure to stop by and see all the
beautiful plantings and great ideals waiting on you
I confess, I did no plantings from seed this year other than
a few herbs. We had a terrible winter just like everyone
else and it just doesn't want to let up. The last two nights
we have been under a frost and freeze warning. So most of
my flowers to this point are the ones I have saved year
after year, or plantings from the nursery.
This is my newest acquisition this week, I have decided
use allot of white in my garden this year!!
I made this flower bed shortly after we moved into
this house. The previous owner already had several
of the lily's planted in other parts of the yard,
so I started digging them up and transplanting them!
Carried each and every one of the stones to make the
bed toooo! I Am Woman Hear Me Roar!!!!!
They are beautiful when they all start to bloom,
a sea of yellow!!!!!
These two little beauties I bought this spring, they were
small starter plantings.
I love the ivy and I am trying to get it to climb the
little trellis I made (from a tripod), recycle, recycle.
The other little grassy bush, well I have no ideal what
it is, I just loved the texture (if anyone knows what it
is please let me know).
Well I hope I didn't bore you tooo much.
I look forward to seeing all your beautiful plants and
gardens.
Bye For Now,

Your daylily bed is pretty. I have some stones that need to be moved too - want to come over for a rock party? hahaha
I really look forward to seeing that bed once they begin to bloom! Blessings, Beth
I cannot imagine still having frost warnings this time of the year. I too have added more white this year.
You did a great job on your daylily bed!
Hi Sandy, I must say anyone who rescues dogs and love animals is a saint. My friend Skeeter (co-poster) is really big into it. I only just adopt my pets from the animal shelter but that's enough.
Your white impatien is awesome. I had to enlarge the picture to see what it was. At first I thought rose then gardenia. I can see a whole garden of these. And that sea of yellow will be a cheery sight to see. Can't help your grass like plant because I think it is in the houseplant category and I am not good with them. Hopefully someone can identify it but in the meantime it looks happy. Have a great weekend and even though I haven't done Fertilizer Friday I think you did a fabulous job.
We had snow on Wednesday! My day lillies are at about the same stage as yours. I can't wait for the flowers to appear!
