Welcome

Welcome to our old farmhouse. Over the past year I have learned so much history of this house and the people who lived here. Ninety six years of love, loss, hopes and dreams. Preservation continues and there is always a repair to be done. We are trying to be purest in our preservation as much as we possibly can. I hope you follow along and each week I will try to give you a little history of the house as well as the first owners of the house. I've been lucky enough to find a journal from a Granddaughter who talks about the house as well as her Grandparents. So come follow along and learn about this old house as well as the occupants, old and new.

Fall Changes For The Kitchen

This was my summer look for the kitchen after I removed the doors from four of my cabinets.
Just allot of this and that, I have collected over the years.

And now for my fall metamorphosis. Again most everything has been collected over time with the exception of the pumpkin pie dish on the middle shelf. A good deal from TJ Maxx.

A different little shade for the lamp.

I just used anything I could gather from around the house to display the plates and bowls, just for fun.
This is a hanging shelf for the wall, I have a little wooden box holding plates. Like I said, just fun.

Well that's all for now.
See you soon,
Sandy

Great transformation! It's just amazing what a few dishes in deep, rich colors to do warm up and bring Fall to any space. Adore your little lamp.
