Well the Holiday season is here! I'm sure everyone
is getting ready for Thanksgiving, just like I am!
We are expecting about fourteen for dinner, so the house
is cleaned and decorated for Thanksgiving. BUT WAIT!!
I received a wonderful email from my Son and DIL
asking if we could celebrate
Thanksgiving and Christmas together this year.
OF COURSE is every Grandma's reply, but oh no, the
little ones have to have Christmas trees and decorations.
So up bright and early this morning, take down the
Thanksgiving decorations, pack them away, put them in the attic,
start pulling down the Christmas decorations. OK, I have
two weeks to decorate inside, which usually takes me a
full three weeks.
Ready, Start, Go!!!
Where to start first????
Well silly, of course, in the cleanest rooms in the house!!!
Guest bathrooms and bedrooms!!
A little peak into one of my guest bathrooms.
A few goodies in the guest room.

Lots of snowmen in this room.
Then I skipped onto the kitchen!
A little pick me up for the chandelier!
Some dried hydrangeas, a few sticks from the yard, pine
cones blue ribbon and a few small ornaments.
Now this is the only tree I have managed to put up
and I did it last night. I had to show you this, before the
decorations. I bought this tree at a garage sale last
summer for $10.00. Yes a 7 1/2 foot
Martha Stewart Christmas tree for $10.00.
Perfect condition!!
I just love the fullness of the tree.
Well don't forget to visit with all of today's party
goers!! Your sure to find some real eye candy!

My grands are coming for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. I don't have the dinners here this year. My family takes turns so we will all get in the cars and head to my sister's for Thanksgiving and my brother's for Christmas Eve. I will decorate for Christmas after they go home after Thanksgiving and then they will be all surprised when they come back for Christmas. You decorations look great.

Hip Hip Hurray for Christmas!!! Woo hoo!!! :-) I loved your post. You sound so incredibly cheery. I'm already decorating for Christmas myself. I just love it and it takes me about 6 weeks, so I start up as soon as Halloween is finished.
I love your Christmas decorations and I think your 10 dollar Christmas tree find is WONDERFUL. Isn't it just fabulous when something like that happens?

A Martha Stewart tree for just $10 - now, that's just not fair. (The sound you hear is me flinging myself on the floor and kicking my feet.).
It's all gorgeous, but I think the chandelier is the best. You have certainly collected some beautiful decorations.

My husband thinks I"m crazy to decorate the bathroom. Now I can claim there are two of us!
I think that would do me in...Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time but I understand family situations and we do all we can to be together for holidays! What a great deal on the Martha tree she has good stuff...and who wants to pay full price?

Such beautiful holiday decorating! I love your bathroom sink and goose neck faucet! The red decor is beautiful! You did wonderful finding your Christmas tree at a garage sale, that's for sure!!
