Missing from action for awhile.
The weather has been beautiful, so a little thrift shopping
was in order. So here was my first score of the season.
Actually I found this last winter at a local thrift store
and got her all ready for spring. After a little black
paint or should I say allot of black paint,( the ole girl
was really white) she works well with the rest of my
wicker.
A few old candles decorated with some old ribbon,
and paper. Of course a girl has to have a rooster.
Most of the pillows are from my other house, but
still work well.
Now I have a question for you.......
How do you think all this would work here?
We have really hit house hunting hard and this is one
of the contenders!
Gotta love that swing!
Got one on this side toooo!
And a fan on each side to keep you cool!
See the gated courtyard, one on each side of the
house.
Welcome home
Lots of potential. Can't you just see yourself
having coffee out here?
Here is a picture of the dining room. Wonderful old
french doors leading to the other room. Original coal
fireplace and mirror.
Notice the chair rail.
Bead board on the ceiling.
Living room fireplace.
Pocket doors going to the entry hall.
A view into the entry hall from the kitchen hall.
Entry ceiling.
Love all the woodwork.
One of the bedrooms. A fireplace in every bedroom.
Who can resist a claw foot tub?
Large kitchen!
A view from the back door to the entry.
Some nice shelves and cabinets next to the hall
entrance to the dining room. Gotta love the little
swinging door just to the left, that of course my maid
would be able to use. Ha Ha
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you will stop by
next week we have six appointments this week. So I
hope to have more great photos next week.

The ottoman turned out beautifully. I would most certainly buy that house if I could afford it. It is charming with that porch.
Love the ottoman and settee, how fabulous it would be on that wonderful porch. The house looks amazing. I would love it. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Buy it! Wow. Such great bones and potential, but also so much to just walk in and live/love. Those porches are dreamy - of course in Southern California those kinds of dream porches and house don't exist. Do it! Happy Hunting. ~CJ
French doors in the dining room, fireplaces in every bedroom, etc...If you don't buy it I will, lol!
The ottoman is perfect on the porch and your trayscape tops it off. love the rooster too. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful house with so much potential. Your ottoman is perfect with your other wicker, and would be great on any porch!!! Sally
The house looks like it has so much potential... I love it!
I love this whole thing and I don't know where to start the ottoman, the toile and the candles are all beautiful. Great job.
I will love to buy that house too, if I have the marginal §;-)
