for hosting this event. Be sure to stop
by Susan's for all the wonderful
outdoor spaces you are sure to find.
It's been a long time since I have posted
to Outdoor Wednesday, but since I was
stuck indoors for so long during the winter
I have found myself outdoors as much as I
possibly can this spring. I don't have allot
going on in my yard yet, the weather is
still not that great here, in fact we are
under a freeze warning tonight.
This is one of my white Iris I brought
with me from South Carolina.
I belonged to the Iris Society there
so needless to say I had several Iris
beds in my yard.
Some of these were brought from my old house, others
were given to me by my Mother In Law.
Had to show this one. This is from Last year, but as I
type she is back in this exact spot sitting on her eggs.
I expect to see the babies any day now.
I have a gold fish pond in the back yard and that is
where she introduces them to the water.
Thanks for stopping by.
Bye For Now,

Your iris are beautiful - Thanks for sharing them.
Lovely iris and a returning duck to boot! Hope you'll post a picture of the family in the goldfish pond.

Beautiful Irises! Love the duck shot. It is great that she feels safe enough to come back again this year. I look forward to seeing pictures of her and her babies.

Lovely irises and cute pic of mama duck. We get ducks in our pond sometimes.
Hi Sandy! Thanks for your vist today. I see you also like white iris. Hope to see more of the ducklings. We do love antiques also. Even garden antiques. Have a great day...Julian
Thank goodness the weather is letting your lovely irises come out for show. I think we all will feel and do better once mother natures settles down.
Wow, a duck in the yard, she´s adorable. How cute that she swims with them in your little pond :)
When we had our pond, I had iris planted in a lovely corner of the pond, right under a red Japanese maple. When we filled in the pond I gave all my iris to my Dad. I just had no where else to put them.
Thanks for your really sweet and nice comment on my blog, Sandy! Always much appreciated! : )
I love Irises don't you? That photo of mama duck is darling - I hear ducks return every year to have their eggs in the same place. How Fun!
