Welcome

Welcome to our old farmhouse. Over the past year I have learned so much history of this house and the people who lived here. Ninety six years of love, loss, hopes and dreams. Preservation continues and there is always a repair to be done. We are trying to be purest in our preservation as much as we possibly can. I hope you follow along and each week I will try to give you a little history of the house as well as the first owners of the house. I've been lucky enough to find a journal from a Granddaughter who talks about the house as well as her Grandparents. So come follow along and learn about this old house as well as the occupants, old and new.

Christmas 2010

Thanks for taking the time to stop for a visit.
Thanks Marty for hosting.
Follow me for a little Christmas spirit.
As I said before, my decorating had to be finished
on Thanksgiving. The little ones had a wonderful time,
and it was great seeing those little eyes when they
saw the decorations.
One of my favorite Santa's on my desk in the
 dining room.
A little more white in the foyer to match the
 chandelier.

 The family room mantel.
You saw all these guys last year!

I have to show you the matching tree!
All red with Santa's. This tree was my score this
summer! A $10.00 Martha Stewart tree!
Gotta love those hand made school gifts.

Thanks again for visiting.
Be sure to visit everyone at
for Table Top Tuesday for lots
of wonderful eye candy.
Bye For Now,

Hi Sandy! Your decorating is so pretty! I'm sure the little ones loved it. Your Santa is very handsome and I like the garland of poinsettias over the mirror. Those little skates are so cute!! Nice tree too and what a deal you got on it! :)
I'll bet you feel so good that you can sit back and enjoy all your pretty Christmasness now that your decorating is done.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a magnificent Santa, Sandy! Love him! Your boots/skates are adorable ~ I love them. Now you get to sit back and enjoy everything. I'm basically done, too; just a few little things and I need to cut some greens from my yard.
