As you can see I have a little help today with my project.

Meet Copper, I think we may have told him to many times

he's a pretty boy, because trust me he would not move. Sooo,

onto my project...

I found this little table at the thrift store this week, a $2.00 find.

This was really one of those times when you  had to have

imagination and see the bones. I just loved the iron legs!!

Have you ever been asked at the grocery store, paper or

plastic? We still have a couple of grocery stores in the area

that do that and even carry your groceries to your car!

So one day I said paper, please!!!

After tearing the paper into pieces, adding a little glue, then

a little walnut oil based stain.

The nail trim is from a chair I am in the process of

reupholstering. A pack rat never throws anything away.

As my Dad use to say, I might need that one day!

for Table Top Tuesday!

Well you knew I just couldn't leave things alone on

my faux fireplace! So here are my changes. I changed

the wreath from a fall welcome to a burlap wreath, that

I made from an old burlap bag and a wire hanger.

 Nothing new here, the bears I used last year on the

family room mantel and the little tricycle is a flower

vase given to me by a friend. So everything here is

recycled!

She's still waiting on her ride!

An old ceramic pumpkin that I have had for years,

I just painted it white last year!

A Ghostly Time For The Kiddies

Please join me for a ghostly time at

"Between Naps On The Porch"

for Tablescape Thursday.

Now lets go see the ghostly table for the kiddies.

Things need to be simple for the little ones, sooo

simple place setting and a simple centerpiece.

The center piece is just simple cheese cloth, wrapped

around the candelabra, a ghost made of the cheese

cloth and a few sticks from the yard.

And of course a wrinkled table cloth!

Now would a haunted dining room have a freshly

starched and ironed table cloth?

Now everything on this table you have saw many times.

The black dishes, gold chargers (my stand by), everyday

tea glasses, dipped in sugar.

The napkins I used last year as well as the ghost napkin

rings.

I hope you enjoyed my simple and fun kiddie table.
